As promised, I have a tutorial for you! A regular hot-topic in scrapbooking and cardmaking circles is "How do you store your ribbon?", so I've blended some ideas I've seen around the place and come up with this great way to store your ribbons without getting kinks in them, and always ensuring they are close at hand and easily accessible to match to your creation. Here it is!
Step One: Take a piece of whisper white cardstock and punch with the double rectangle punch, as shown.

Step Two: Slide the double rectangle punch across, so that half of the punch window is empty, as shown. Punch again.

Step Three: Take a 1 3/8 inch square punch and insert cardstock so that the double rectangle is centred just above the bottom of the punch window, as shown. Punch.

Step Four: Punch a small hole at the top of the punched square, as shown.

Step Five: Take a piece of ribbon and thread from the back, through the top slot punched with the double rectangle. The ribbon I've used here is this year's gorgeous new In Colour range, Purely Pomegranate. Isn't it pretty?

Step Six: Thread the same end of the ribbon from the front, through the bottom slot, as shown.

Step Seven: Pull through the length of ribbon so that you have two even "tails" (the white tag we've created will sit approximately halfway up the length of ribbon)

Step Eight: Attach the ribbon tag to a hinged ring.

Step Nine: Take a medium sized cup hook and fix to a shelf or wall near to your workspace. Be sure to allow hanging room for your lengths of ribbon when deciding where to place your cup hook (or hooks if you love ribbon like I do!). Hang your ribbon-tagged Hinged Rings from your cup hook and you're all done!
Wasn't that easy? It's a good idead to hang similar colours together on one hinged ring, so you can just grab that one ring and bring it to your work when adding your ribbon. Enjoy!
