I {heart} Hearts Mini Accordian Album

I am really loving the I {heart} Hearts stamp set. I'm finding it to be a very inspirational set, which makes it really easy to create with! When I bought the set back in early January, the first project that I began planning was a mini accordian album for my husband for Valentine's Day. I plan to put some family photos in my album and I chose an accordian style because I wanted my husband to be able to stand it up on display, either on his desk at work or on our TV cabinet at home. I was so excited with the finished album that I decided to offer it as a class. The class sold out so quickly that I didn't even get to advertise it online!

The class was held at my place last Thursday night and we all had a great time. Everyone's albums turned out a little differently with each person's personal touch. This is one of the things I love most about teaching papercrafts -the way we can all create something different with the exact same supplies and tools. It's so inspirational!

I decided to enter this week's CPS Challenge, and being the end of SAB, I decided to use Botanical Blossoms for the challenge. I'm not entirely sure I made the right colour choices, but I think this card shows the versatility of this cute set. I've cut out the individual flower images (excluding stems) and created a bouquet with them, using stampin' dimensionals to give the bouquet a 3D effect. The sentiment is from the set "Much Appreciated", which is retiring on March 31st (only available while stocks last!). This is such a great set, at a fantastic price. Being someone who gives quite a few thank-you cards, this set is a much-valued part of my Stampin' Up! collection!

All in the family

As many of you know, the Australian General Manager, Dave Abbott, recently passed away from a rare blood disease, at the age of 41, leaving behind his wife and 3 young children. Stampin' Up!, being the incredible company they are, have just released the stamp set called 'All In The Family' in Australia in order to raise money for Dave's family. 100% of the proceeds of the sale of this stamp set worldwide will be donated to Dave's young family - not just the profits, but 100% of the sale price worldwide.
