New Monthly Cardmaking Class-At-Home

Are you a busy mum with limited crafting time? Or a working woman who finds it difficult to find "me" time? I have the solution for you! With my new program, I am offering monthly Stamp-A-Stacks as complete pre-cut project kits with full instructions, ready to create and complete in your own home, at your own pace. Throughout the year, we'll cover a range of themes such as birthday, masculine, get well and more.

Each kit contains all materials required (excluding adhesives) to complete 10 cards. With the release of each month's theme, I'll provide a list of tools needed from your own stash.

This month we're making birthday/thank-you cards and we'll be learning how to add detail to our cards with the use of die cut layers. Here is a sneak peak at this month's cards:

Upcoming Class - Complete Mini Album

It’s that time of year again –Christmas is fast approaching and there’s less than 6 weeks left to get your gift-giving organised. Great News! I have a fantastic class coming up that will help with the task. Join us on November 26th to create a complete 6x6 scrapbook album that will make a fantastic gift for just about any family member. You can choose from a range of themes to suit your recipient and/or photos (little boy theme shown).

As part of this class, you also have the option to join us for breakfast as we raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Ribbon Breakfast Appeal. We'll enjoy a buffet style breakfast together from 8:30am, then make our albums together in class from 9:30am. We'll also have games, prizes and competitions.

Cards By Mail is back! Registrations now open for Round 8

All new program starts in September

 

This fantastic program will give you 9 beautiful card designs and the supplies you’ll need to create them. It’s also the perfect way to get your hands on lots of newly released, gorgeous products without having to place a big order to get them. With this next round of Cards By Mail, you choose whether you want to make Christmas Cards or All-Occasion Themed Cards. By the end of the program, you’ll have enough supplies to create at least 160 cards –all your Christmas Cards done in one fun program, or a great stash of cards for your year-round birthdays and “other occasions” requirements!

How It Works: The program will run across 3 months, beginning in September. In order to take part in the program, you will subscribe to all 3 months. Scrapbooking - Stampin' Up! Style!

One of the regular classes I offer is a scrapbooking class. My scrapbooking style is very clean and simple. I like to keep my pages uncluttered and allow the photos to be the star of the show. I'm often inspired by layouts I see in Creating Keepsakes magazine, as was the case with the layout we created in this month's scrapbooking class. I did a sketch based on a layout in an old issue of the magazine and then created my layout from that sketch. I was really excited with the end result -I think it's the colour scheme that really attracts me to this layout. I used the Elegant Soiree Designer Series paper and cardstocks to match. The flowers are Stampin' Up!'s paper flowers and I've dyed them with reinkers.

Christmas Cardmaking for Aussie Troops

Are you available THIS TUESDAY (the 2nd of November) between 10am and 3:30pm? Yes? Fantastic! We need you to join us at my place in Blue Haven to help us make Christmas cards for our Aussie troops in Afghanistan. We send the cards over to the troops for them to send home to their families, as Christmas cards are not readily available for purchase over there. We want to make as many cards as possible, so the more, the merrier!

It's a casual day, so you can come when you're able to and leave when you need to any time between 10 and 3:30. Tea/Coffee, Lunch and all materials will be provided, but please bring a paper trimmer if you have one.

Cracked Glass Technique Class

I have another exciting class comin up! In this class we'll learn the fantastic technique called "Cracked Glass". This versatile technique is one that you'll turn to time and time again for a wide range of project themes. At the class, we'll create a gorgeous birthday card with matching On Board 5"x5" Art Journal (both pictured). A gorgeous gift idea for Mother's Day, which is just around the corner! You'll also receive printed step by step instructions on how to recreate the effect at home.

Scrapbook In An Evening Class

I have an exciting class coming up that I wanted to share with you all today. I often have mums tell me that they just don't have enough time to do all of the scrapbooking they'd like to get done. I recently had one of those lightbulb moments and thought "I should do a class where we make a complete scrapbook album in one evening". So here it is. My "Scrapbook In An Evening" class. Love it!

This class will not only provide you with a gorgeous completed album, but you’ll also receive full step by step instructions to recreate the album at home in any theme and colours you like! The completed album has 12 pages for photos and journaling and 6 pockets for hideaway mementos or hidden journaling. I {heart} Hearts Mini Accordian Album

I am really loving the I {heart} Hearts stamp set. I'm finding it to be a very inspirational set, which makes it really easy to create with! When I bought the set back in early January, the first project that I began planning was a mini accordian album for my husband for Valentine's Day. I plan to put some family photos in my album and I chose an accordian style because I wanted my husband to be able to stand it up on display, either on his desk at work or on our TV cabinet at home. I was so excited with the finished album that I decided to offer it as a class. The class sold out so quickly that I didn't even get to advertise it online!

The class was held at my place last Thursday night and we all had a great time. Everyone's albums turned out a little differently with each person's personal touch. This is one of the things I love most about teaching papercrafts -the way we can all create something different with the exact same supplies and tools. It's so inspirational!

Stamps By Mail Program 3 Begins Dec 15th!

Great news! Stamps By Mail is back with all new stamps, papers, buttons and more! Join us for a whole new program of Stamps By Mail fun! Beginning December 15th, we’ll be creating these gorgeous projects:

How It Works: The program will run across 4 months, beginning in December. In order to take part in the program, you will subscribe to all 4 months. Each month, you will receive a delivery straight from the warehouse containing stamps, inkpads and accessories. You will also receive materials and instructions from me to complete 3 projects each month. These projects will consist of both scrapbooking and cardmaking designs.

Christmas Mini Album Class By Mail

Last week's Mini Album class was fantastic! We had a great time and everyone went home with a completed (gorgeous!) mini album. I originally offered the class as a "Baby's First Year" Mini Album, but I had a couple of ladies ask if I could offer a different theme for them as they didn't want to do the baby theme. As this fabulous mini album is so easily adapted with any of our Simply Scrappin' Kits, I was happily able to oblige.

My friend, Diane, came along to the class and created her album using the "I Wish" Simply Scrappin' Kit. It turned out so well! As you can see in today's photos, Diane's album is just gorgeous! I like it so much that I plan to create one of these myself!

Christmas Cardmaking on the Central Coast

It's hard to believe that August is almost here and many papercrafters are beginning to make a start on their Christmas 2009 cardmaking! Christmas is one of my very favourite times of year, so I'm excited to be making a start on my Christmas cards with my first 2009 Christmas Stamp-A-Stack on August 6th at 7:30pm. Today's cards are a sneak peak at the cards we'll be creating on the night. The class is $10 and we'll be making 6 cards (2 each of 3 different designs). Envelopes and Inserts are available for an additional $2 and you can stamp them to match your cards if you want to.

A Stamps By Mail Sneak Peak!

Christmas Cardmaking in Charmhaven

Christmas is coming around again and it's time to start making our cards! I'm kickstarting the cardmaking frenzy this year with a great Christmas Stamp-A-Stack next Friday night (the 5th of September). Here's a peak at the cards we'll be making;

We'll make 3 of the card at the front of the picture (a CASE from the IB&C) and one each of the other three cards at the back (CASEd from SCS -aren't they gorgeous?). So, 6 cards in total. Another great night

We had another great night of stamping at our Mini Catalogue Launch on August 15th. We all created 3 projects each, had a lot of laughs and, of course, ate too many lollies! Here is a sneak peak pic of the projects we created on the night:

There's a 6x6 page using "Enjoy Every Moment" stamp set, a square card using "Season of Joy" and a gift card box designed to hold 3x3 notecards using "True Friend" stamp set and Apple Cider DSP. All of these products are available in the newly released Spring Mini Catalogue. If you'd like a copy of the catalogue, please Email Me and I'd be happy to get one out to you.

I'll get a proper pic of the projects on here soon, so you can see them in their complete glory! In the meantime, we're already planning our next stamping night!
