Beautiful Blogger Awards

I'm feeling very honoured and a little bit slack today. Over the past couple of weeks, I've been awarded the Beautiful Blogger award by three lovely ladies and have been so busy with other things that I haven't got around to posting a reply here on my blog. Slack! So, today I say thank-you SO much to the gorgeous Rhonda Statham, Terri Donnarumma and Cathy Clark. Thank-you all for honouring me with this award!

Now to play along! In accepting the award, I have to tell you ten things about myself. So here goes:

1. I am a born again Christian and I can't imagine my life without my Lord in it.
2. I've been married to my best friend for ten years. I am so blessed with a loving, supportive husband who understands my obsession with all things stamping (note: I didn't say he likes it, I said he understands it! Lol)
3. We have two adorable little boys who brighten our days and constantly make us laugh
4. I started cardmaking in 2002, when stuck at home for months (literally) after major surgery on my wrist. I needed something to do to keep me sane, so my mum (God bless her!) suggested I make my own Christmas cards that year. An addiction was born...
5. I'm finding it REALLY hard to think of ten things about myself to share!
6. We live on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW. It's a wonderful place to live and raise our boys.
7. I'm not a big fan of chocolate. I have to really be in the mood for chocolate to eat it, which happens rarely. I know, I'm rare! It's especially strange, because my mum, my husband and my two sons are all complete chocoholics!
8. I love reading and have a book on the go most of the time. I like a wide range of authors.
9. I HATE housework! 
10. In addition to papercrafting, I also enjoy knitting, crocheting and some sewing. All of these crafts take a major backseat to papercrafting, though!

Now I need to choose 10 beautiful blogs that I enjoy. Easy! There are SO many super-talented ladies out there who inspire me in so many ways. Not all of these blogs are papercraft related, but they are beautiful and inspirational and I love them. So here they are (in no particular order):

1. Dawn McVey -so inspirational, I love Dawn's clean, elegant style to her cards.
2. Kristina Werner -What a talent! Kristina's cards are so fun and her tutorials are always straightforward and easy to follow.
3. Clean & Simple Stamping -these ladies are so inspiring! Sometimes I just want to make a quick, simple and unfussy card. This blog is great for that!
4. Card Positioning Systems -created by Tami Mayberry, this blog gives a new card sketch each week, along with the chance to win a prize. Love it!
5. Kevin & Amanda -what's not to love? Classy lady, fun blog, free fonts and recipes. You just gotta love it!
6. Poppy Paperie by Lisa Johnson -I just adore Lisa's style. So elegant, her cards always look "finished" and beautiful. Such an inspiration!
7. Teneale Williams -when I set up my google reader, this lady's blog was the first subscription I made. Need I say more? Uber-talented papercrafter, gorgeous gorgeous lady, SO thrilled to know her!
8. Nichole Heady -I'm completely inspired by Nichole. Her style, her cards, her stamp sets. SO inspired.
9. Natasha Trupp -I've loved Natasha's cards for years now. Her clean, balanced style in so inspiring. Love her blog!
10. Melissa Bickford -you know you're a fan of someone's work when you look at your stash of stamps from the company they work for and most of your sets were designed by the same person! Love Melissa's work -her cards, stamps, the lot.
