Happy Friday, Everyone! Today I wanted to show you this great trick for creating scrunchy ribbon from Stampin' Up!'s gorgeous Taffeta Ribbon. I learned this trick from the gorgeous Shannon West at Stampin' Up! Convention last weekend. We are so lucky to have such a talented training facilitator! I am always inspired by Shannon whenever I see her create!
Anyway, so, the trick is to take a length of our taffeta ribbon, cut a tiny slit in the centre of one end of the ribbon using your paper snips and then just pull on one of the fibres of the ribbon to get this scrunchy effect along the length of it. So cute! I loved Shannon's idea so much that I came home and created a card using this idea the very next day! My card is pretty much a CASE of Rae Barthel's card in this post over on the Papercrafts Connection blog (third card down). I really like this layout, I think I'll try it again using a different paper and colour scheme. So many cards to make, so little creative time! Lol.
