A Belated Happy Mother's Day to all my blog reading mums! I hope you had a lovely, restful day yesterday. Today I am sharing the card I made for my mother-in-law. I used the gorgeous new In Colour, Melon Mambo and the fabulous Medallion stamp set. I just love this new stamp! It gives such a stunning focal point for cards.
To get the soft effect to the stamped medallion image, I used a technique called "ghosting". This is a really simple technique. You just use a brayer to spread a good coat of ink over our Vellum Cardstock, then stamp onto the vellum with a clean stamp while the ink is still wet.
I'll be sharing more stamping techniques here on my blog in the coming weeks. To ensure you don't miss any of them, subscribe to my blog today and receive all of my updates in your favourite reader.
