Yesterday was World MS Day, marking the beginning of MS Awareness week. Established by the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation and its member MS societies, World MS Day was created to raise awareness and inspire people to fight to make a difference in the lives of people living with MS. Over 2,000,000 people throughout the world are currently living with MS, a chronic, often debilitating disease. According to the World MS Day website, "it is one of the most common disabling neurological conditions amongst young adults".
With two close family members and a friend currently living with MS, this is a cause very close to my heart. Here in Australia, the MS Society has launched a national campaign in honour of MS Awareness Week. The "kiss goodbye to MS" campaign encourages us to wear red lipstick to help spread the word on MS. Since I'm not a big lipstick wear-er, I decided to create a red card and share it here on my blog instead. So, here is my red card! I've used the Pink Flamingo DSP, along with Real Red ink and a gorgeous Real Red button. I kept my card design very simple because I think that stunning floral paper does all the work on its own!
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you've enjoyed my card. I would ask that while you're here, please take a moment to visit Australia's MS Society website and donate to this fantastic charity that does so much to improve the lives of people living with MS.

Have I told you lately how much I love you Wendy! You rock so hard - we need to talk about holding a joint MS fundraiser I think. PLease may I totally copy this card - its so gorgeous, and I love the sentiment behind it (as you knew I would)
Love always, Trace xxx
