I have some BIG news to share with you today! Stampin' Up! have announced that with the arrival of our new Idea Book & Catalogue in September, we'll see a huge colour renovation. At first site, the details of this renovation are a little bit scary (quite a few of my favourite colours are retiring -sob-), but then it gets exciting -so many gorgeous new colours to fall in love with!
So, without further ado, I know you're dying to see the details. Here are the colours that will be RETIRING at the end of August 2010 (click on the image to download a full colour PDF):
And now the really exciting part! Here are the new colour families that will form the regular range of colours, beginning September 1st (click on the image to download a full colour PDF):
I'm sure you'll agree that the new colour families are particularly yummy! You'll notice some old (and new!) favourites returning (former In Colours returning as regular range -yay!) and also some very exciting NEW colours -I can't wait to get my hands on that Early Espresso!!!
Another exciting piece of Colour Renovation news is that In Colours will now stay for 2 years! Beginning September 1st, we'll be getting FIVE new In Colours (in addition to the new colour families shown above) and we'll have them for TWO whole years! Next September, we'll get another 5 new colours, so then we'll have ten In Colours. How great is that?!? Love it!
Okay, so now that you have information overload (breath, people, just breath!), here is a card I made on Saturday with some of my fave DSP (felt the need to play with soon-to-be-gone papers!):
I created the flower with Blossom Nesties (3 different sizes). Both the flower and the green print background are Raspberry Fizz DSP. I'm definitely going to miss Kiwi Kiss!
I'm grateful that Stampin' Up! have given us plenty of notice of these changes so that we can build up our stash of favourite colour products (including reinkers, ribbons, cardstock and other co-ordinating products) -Kiwi Kiss is definitely on my list! I recommend that you begin to do this early, to avoid disappointment. There's likely to be a last minute rush come August and I expect stocks will run out early.
