Introducing CARDS By Mail

Great news! Stamps By Mail is back with all new stamps, papers, ribbons and more! Join us for a whole new program of Stamps By Mail fun! Beginning April 15th, we’ll be creating these gorgeous projects:

How It Works: The program will run across 4 months, beginning in April. In order to take part in the program, you will subscribe to all 4 months. Each month, you will receive a delivery straight from the warehouse containing stamps, inkpads and accessories. You will also receive materials and instructions from me to complete 3 cards each month.

You will get: Across the 4 months of the program, you will receive all of the following items:

In order to use the cling stamps included in this program, you will also need clear blocks. If you don't already own clear blocks, I recommend blocks C and H from our Autumn/Winter mini (available from April 1st). If you would prefer to receive wood mounted stamps with your program, this option is also available (see details below)

The Cost: The Stamps By Mail program is just $50 per month (clear-mount option) or $52.50 per month (wood-mount option) for 4 months. This includes shipping from the warehouse to you and also postage from me to you for the extra cardstock and embellishments you will need. Payment can be made via Cash, Credit Card, Direct Deposit to my bank account or Paypal.

When Is It? The next Stamps By Mail program will begin April 15th, 2009 and will run through July. The mail outs will happen around the 15th of each month. If you already have any of the stamp pads, you can select another colour of your choice. Just email me prior to the 15th of the month they are needed in and tell me what colour you would like instead.

Upon registration, you will receive an email from me, outlining further details of the program. Please note that this is an all-inclusive program and you must subscribe to ALL four months of the program to participate.

Vintage Vogue Sneak Peek

Create A Card Friday - New Baby Girl

Welcome to another Create-A-Card Friday! (finally!!!) It's been a while since I've had the time to sit down and create another video tutorial for Create-A-Card Friday, so I'm excited to be bringing today's tutorial to you. I have several friends expecting new babies this year, so I needed to get organised and make a couple of cards ready to send when the new little bundles of joy arrive. Today's tutorial is how to create a quick, simple card for a new baby girl, but the design is simple enough to be easily changed to suit a new baby boy too.

Hello Again

One of the {many} things I love about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is the training events that Stampin' Up! offer. These events provide us demos with fabulous project ideas, business tips, new products (for free!) and of course, fabulous socialising and networking with other demos.

Today's card is one of the Make & Take projects that we created at Regional Training last November. It's such a cute card, but it was really quick & simple to make. We used the Stamp Set "Hello Again" from the Summer Mini catalogue. Isn't it adorable?

Masculine Birthday Card with Good Neighbours Stamp Set

Just a quick one today. I wanted to show you this great card that I CASEd from SCS. I changed the papers and sentiment, but otherwise I copied the design exactly. I just love this card! Such a simple design, but so perfect for a quick birthday card for a man. Going Green for a Belated Birthday Card

Last week we had a family holiday at an eco-friendly NRMA holiday park. We had a great time and I came home feeling very inspired to be more conscientious with my recycling and "green" habits! So, when I saw this card by Jen del Muro, I felt even more inspired and decided to create my own version of her card using some recycled supplies.

I decided to create my card for a sketch challenge over at our team's challenge blog, Elite Challenges. I'm really happy with how it turned out. The pom pom flower was made using the brown paper packing from my Stampin' Up! orders and I stamped on it using the damask image from Friends 24-7 stamp set in Old Olive ink. The photo doesn't do it justice, it looks fantastic in real life!

Easter Cardmaking in Lake Macquarie

Yesterday I attended the Coffee, Craft and Chat club at Morisset  Multipurpose Centre to demonstrate Easter Cardmaking. We had a great morning socialising and creating together. Thanks for having me, Ladies!

Today's card is the Make & Take project that we created yesterday morning. I CASEd the layout from a card designed by Nichole Heady and the punch art basket of eggs from a card designed by Marelle Taylor.

Simple Thanks For Everything

Just a simple card today. This card was strongly inspired by a card displayed at an official Stampin' Up! event. I only had a blurry photo of the card I was inspired by, but it was enough to give me an idea and I ran with it! I like the simplicity of this card layout because it lends itself to a variety of applications. I've made my card a thank-you for my father-in-law, who often helps me with little jobs for my craft room. I so appreciate all he does for me! But this card could easily be adjusted to suit any occasion -change the colours for a beautiful lady's birthday card, change the stamps and simplify the colours for a striking wedding card... the possibilities are endless!

Clean and simple cards are making a big comeback and I just love them! When I find a great layout like this, I like to sketch it out into a notebook that I keep for future reference. This notebook is one of my favourite cardmaking tools, now -so handy for those quick cards you need to make in a hurry!

Totally Tool Masculine Card

I've long struggled with making cards for men. Masculine cards always seemed a huge challenge for me. Late last year I made the (since proven to be VERY wise) decision to add the Totally Tool stamp set to my collection. Let me tell you, I am SO glad I did! I love this stamp set! No sooner had I got my hands on it than I began planning a Stamp-A-Stack class using it -I wanted to share the joy of this set with my class customers!

Today's card is one of the 3 designs we made in that Stamp-A-Stack class. I CASEd the layout from a card designed by Kristina Werner and altered it to suit the supplies I wanted to use. I really like the versatility of this card -it's suitable for any aged man in your life (even the little ones!) and it's bright a cheery, too!

Scrapbook In An Evening Class

I have an exciting class coming up that I wanted to share with you all today. I often have mums tell me that they just don't have enough time to do all of the scrapbooking they'd like to get done. I recently had one of those lightbulb moments and thought "I should do a class where we make a complete scrapbook album in one evening". So here it is. My "Scrapbook In An Evening" class. Love it!
