It's been a long time coming, but I've decided that today is my second Sketchy Saturday. I finally made time this week to sit down and put together another sketch. So, here it is;
To participate in my sketch challenge, just create a card using the sketch as a guide to your design/layout, take a photo of it and either email that photo to me or upload it to your favourite online gallery and post a comment on this post with the link to your card. I've created a card myself using this sketch to give you one idea of how your own interpretation of my sketch can really give you a completely different look from the sketch card. You can see from my card that it has the basic layout of the sketch, but the overall card looks very different to the sketch image. I made this card for my friend's daughter, who turned one this week. I love how it turned out! Crazy for Cupcakes is such an easy set to work with -this cake stand image is just stunning. This is one must-have, essential set for all of you birthday card-makers out there!
So, here is my card, incorporating some of my very favourite new products. The Eyelet Border Punch and Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon always feature very close to hand at my craft desk. I love the delicate, feminine feel that the border punch gives to my projects. I've also used the gorgeous Candy Lane Designer Series Papers which feature two of the new In Colours -Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette. I'm so glad we get an extra 5 months with these In Colours -I just adore them!
