Today's card is a little more simple in design, but I think it's cute. I just got the On Board Trimmings chipboard from the Spring Mini Catalogue and I wanted to play around with it, so I took the small Snowflake shape and smooshed it in Whisper White Craft ink. I say smooshed because that's exactly what I did, making sure there was plenty of wet ink on the shape. Then I sprinkled it with Clear detail embossing powder (if I had heat'n'stick powder I would have used this, heaps easier and much better results). As I heated the embossing powder, I sprinkled the shape with dazzling diamonds glitter before the embossing powder cooled. With heat'n'stick, you don't have to sprinkle as you go. I'll definitely be getting me some of that stuff real soon! Once I had covered the whole shape in glitter, I added another layer of clear powder to seal it. Again, with heat'n'stick you don't have to do this. Anyway, the result was a very purdy, sparkly white snowflake and I love it! Here's the card I created with it:
Paper: Sage Shadow, Handsome Hunter, Wintergreen DSP
Ink: Handsome Hunter, Whisper White Craft
Stamps: Many Merry Messages
Accessories: On Board Trimmings, Dazzling Diamonds, Clear Detail Embossing Powder, Heat Tool
Here is a close up to show you the glittery, sparkly snowflake. It really does look much better in real life, but at least this gives you an idea of its prettiness!
Don't Forget! There are only 8 days left to order from the Spring Mini! On Board Trimmings are in there -you won't be able to buy them after November 30, so if you would like to order the supplies to recreate this card at home, give me a call or email me today!
